Who is responsible
The data controller is Monkey-Network (service: MonkeyBytes Hosting). Contact: monkeybyteshosting@gmail.com.
Supervisory authority
You may also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your rights are not respected: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
What we collect
Account and service data
- Account details you provide (e.g., email, username).
- Bot/server files you upload (code, config, assets).
- Operational diagnostics (uptime/error logs, performance metrics).
- IP addresses and security-related metadata for abuse prevention.
What we do not use
- No non-essential cookies or trackers.
- No marketing or advertising profiling.
- No third-party analytics currently in use.
Why we process data
- Performance of a contract / legitimate interests: to provide and secure the hosting service.
- Legal obligations: respond to lawful requests and comply with applicable law.
Age
You must be at least 16 to use the service. If local laws require consent for users aged 16-18, you are responsible for obtaining it.
Who sees your data
- Service operations: limited to platform administrators as needed to run and secure the service.
- Vendors: hosting and infrastructure providers as required to deliver the service.
- No selling of personal data; no advertising partners.
International transfers
We avoid transfers to sanctioned countries (per UK sanctions). If transfers outside the UK/EEA occur, we will apply appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) where required.
Geographic access restrictions
- We restrict access from countries subject to UK sanctions: Russia, Belarus, North Korea, Iran, Syria, Myanmar, and Venezuela.
- Restrictions are enforced at the network level using IP-based geolocation.
- This is required to comply with UK legal obligations under sanctions law.
- Users from blocked regions cannot access or use the service.
Legal basis
These restrictions are implemented under our legal obligation to comply with UK sanctions regulations. Blocking access helps ensure we operate lawfully and do not inadvertently facilitate activities prohibited under sanctions regimes.
How long we keep data
- Account data: kept while your account is active and for a limited period after closure for security and operational reasons.
- Servers with empty directories may be deleted when nodes reach capacity; we will notify via the dashboard.
- Operational logs: kept for security/diagnostics for a limited period, then removed or anonymized.
- Backups: retained only as needed for recovery and then overwritten.
Your choices
You can request deletion of your account/files. We will honour reasonable requests unless we must retain data to meet legal or security obligations.

- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent if we ever rely on it (currently not used for core services).
